Throwback Thursday: Thirty Seconds to Mars – ‘The Kill (Bury Me)’

Yes. This week we’re going back to a better time. A time where Jared Leto rocked the bangs and we rarely saw him without ‘guyliner’. The band has definitely changed over the years as band members have come and gone, a lawsuit has been fought with a documentary to prove it, they’ve made a Guinness World Record for their extensive touring under one album and they accomplished and overcome so much more. Luckily, the changes and events that have occurred have only helped the band flourish. They have one hell of a fan base known as the Echelon aka the Mars Army aka the Believers. They’ve become more unified over the years. The band separated from big name labels and ditched the mainstream music industry all together once the lawsuit was over. Once they were free, they began a new adventure and as a result we were given some incredible music, tours and so much more. For today, this lovely Thursday, we’re not going to focus on the here and now. That’s just not how ‘Throwback Thursday’ works…obviously. So, this little Echelon (yes, it’s true) is proud to present this week’s throwback, the music video inspired by ‘The Shining’, ‘The Kill (Bury Me)’ by Thirty Seconds to Mars.

Throwback Thursday: Icon for Hire – ‘Get Well’

Let’s take it back to say……2011? That was the year Icon for Hire released their debut album, Scripted. The album topped the charts including the Billboard Top 200 and iTunes.

Fun Fact:

“Scripted shattered first week sales becoming the highest new artist debut in Tooth & Nail Records history.” (http://www.mtv.com/artists/icon-for-hire/)

Icon for Hire is still making music and are alive and well (pun!) so go show em’ some love!

Throwback Thursday: Neurosonic- ‘So Many People’

Neurosonic released their one and only album titled Drama Queen in 2007. One of the hit songs off of the album was ‘So Many People’, the band’s way of personally calling out Ashlee Simpson for her lip syncing incident on SNL. The band broke up in 2009 but no one will ever forget them.

So many faces of so many people are covered in stupid and all they wanna do is get in.  I know that your parents are brother and sister it’s idiot season, let the hunting begin…
